24/25 STUDENT PARKING INFORMATION
We are accepting student parking applications this summer on Thursday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 20 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the high school office. In order to obtain a parking tag and be permitted to drive to school, students must complete the application, provide the necessary documents, and submit to a urine drug test at the school. ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Yearbooks will be distributed during homeroom to sophomores, juniors, and seniors on Thursday, September 19th.
- Alumni can pick up their yearbook from the main office starting Monday, September 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, during scheduled school days. If you have a sibling or relative picking up your yearbook, remind them the book is in the main office.
- Picture Day MAKE-UPS are schedule for Friday, October 25th.
- Open House/Meet the Teacher Night is scheduled for Thursday, September 19 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
- Homecoming Dance Ticket Sale Dates (tickets are $40 for single; $80 for couple):
- October 1 - 12th & 11th Grade (during homeroom)
- October 2 - 10th & 9th Grade (during homeroom
- October 3 - make-up sale date
- e-Academy Students may come any of these dates. Please email Mr. Aaron (aaront@youghsd.net) for more details and times.
- Our annual Band Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM.
- In-Service Day (no school for students) is Monday, October 14, 2024.
- Our annual Homecoming Dance will be held at Turkeytown Firehall on Saturday, October 19 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. More information to follow.
- The end of the first 9-week grading period is Thursday, October 31, 2024.
- Report Cards will be distributed to students (as well as spring Keystone Exam results) on Friday, November 8.
- Timeless Tales, our annual fall play, will be held on Friday, November 8 & Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 7:30 PM in the auditorium.

SECURITY MEASURES: Please have your Driver's License or state issued I.D. when visiting. For added security, our school uses the Hall Pass system, which requires any visitor or parent/guardian who may be picking up a student to have their driver's license scanned. Hall Pass Visitor Management protects students and school staff members from the risks of unwanted visitors or child predators gaining access to our school.

Seniors....if you still need your picture taken for the yearbook or you want your senior portraits taken, we will have two days at school for you to do so: Monday, October 21 and Monday, October 28. See Mrs. Gallagher in room 209 for more details.
ATHLETIC SENIOR CITIZEN PASSES
2024-2025 Senior Citizen Passes
Complimentary Senior Citizen Passes for Athletic Events are available in the high school office starting on August 19th, 2024. Please come to door #26 in the front of the building with your drivers license. Senior Citizens who are Yough School District residents and are sixty-two(62) years of age or older shall be admitted without charge to all school events with a complimentary senior citizen pass. This includes sporting events as well as drama and musical productions of the Yough School District. This pass will not be honored for athletic play-off games, special tournaments or parent group sponsored events.
Summer Office Hours are from 7am to 2pm.
